Ensemble Fiestango

Founded in 2005, the Fiestango Ensemble features three talented musicians from Quebec and Montreal with a shared passion: argentine tango. They claim to have been seduced by its contoured rhythmic and suave melodies.

The trio, whose members have graduated from the Université de Montréal and the Conservatoire de Québec, explore argentine tango and its' evolution, thus offering a very diverse repertoire, ranging from the classics to the most recent works in tango music.

Well-known in the Quebec tango community, the ensemble has participated in the 2010 edition of Festivalissimo with the Tango Libre Dance Company. We are glad to welcome once again this trio, which had so mesmerized the public in the 2007 and 2011 FITM editions.
