Silvana Nunez & Ivan Romero

Winner of the 2004 edition of the Tango escenario World Championships, Ivan Romero was first a solid Argentine folklore dancer. After his consecration, he represented the argentinean government of Buenos Aires in numerous events in Argentina and abroad.

Silvana Nuñez showed her talent in different dance forms (folklore, jazz among others) before choosing tango. She is also well versed in organizing events and shows.

Their first major collaboration was in 2009 where they were contracted to work on the choreographic direction of the company "Tango Baile" of André Linetsky with which they will do a tour around Europe. In 2011, they toured with Rodolfo Mederos in North America (Canada, USA, Mexico) and participated in the opening show of the panamerican games in Guadalajara. The same year, they went on tour with the Sexteo Milonguero in Central America and Argentina.

Introduced to the Montreal tango community during the FITM 2012, Silvana and Ivan will be back this year to provide us with their unique teaching skills.
