Maria Gomez & Gustavo Guerrero

Guest dancers 2012

Master of Argentine tango, teacher of folklore dances, choreographer, show producer... Gustavo Guerrero’s resume is quite well filled. Since 1993, his career as a tanguero has lead him to different places, from South America to Canada as well as European countries, such as Finland where the World Summit of tango took place in 2011.

Former dancer of the Bransen Ballet directed by Oscar Murillo and Mabel Pimentel, of the Grand Ballet of Cordoba and of the Ballet of Rosario, Gustavo Guerrero now partakes in different jurys of different reknown Argentine tango festivals and contests. He is also the founder of the Juan Carlos Copes school, in honour of the namesake dancer who taught him the argentine tango.

His partner Maria Gomez took part with him in multiple tango events, such as the World Summit of tango in Finland in 2011, where they offered a noticeable performance. With us for the tenth edition of the FITM, they will give a series of performances and classes during the week-end.
